She Speaks Widget

I haven't figured out if I can go again or not to She Speaks, but I am thinking positively. So, I now have a countdown widget to the 2009 conference. You can click "Get Widget" under the widget or click here to go to where you get it. Now I just need to estimate the cost based on this last year, divide, and SAVE.

You can also make your own widget there and upload a picture and such. I'm just not that creative so I used the sticky note option Spring Widgets provided.

LeAnn might not want it. I think having it count down on her site might stress her out. But I do appreciate all the hard work all the gals at She Speaks 2008 put in!

Now that is simply the coolest thing ever!

I'm going to tell the P31 gals to come see it for themselves. I'm trying to ponder if it would stress me or bless me to see this countdown.

Either way I think it is way cool!

Have a happy weekend! Oh and by the way, Brooke is most certainly not selling the owl... smiles!

This reminds me of the countdown my soroity sisters made for me out of a toilet paper roll the summer (37 years ago!! - my how far technology has come!) I was married! I am going to try to place this on the Spanish blog to get the Latinas charged up about She Speaks- ELLA HABLA. Thanks for a great idea, Amy!!

Oh Amy, now this is awesome! Because I'm not a detailed person this is just the neatest thing! And I think it will help women all over keep it fresh on their minds. I also like the idea of dividing of the cost...how fun! You are amazing! Shari Braendel

Amy,

You are so creative and have such a gift for details. Thanks for sharing a way for us to all anticipate when we can be together again. I love the idea of dividing the months and saving to go! This year there will be an extra month to save since it's the end of July instead of June.

I do hope you get to come back in 2009!!

Have a great week!
Renee

Amy,
I am totally impressed. I did not know such things were possible. I am like Luann, a total babe in the woods when it comes to the blogs. I really like your break down idea for budgeting. It is always better to take things in small sections.
I will check back to stay updated.
Thanks for your support.

Amy-
Well, you creative gal, you! Thanks for doing this and all of you other P31 speaker team gals, take note---Amy was in MY evaluation group :) Seriously, thanks Amy and tell Jill "hey" for me. I actually have an interview posted with her this week on my site. Hop over and see it. Blessings, Karen

Amy,

I just announced to our entire office how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds were left until the next She Speaks. I think they thought I had too much time on my hands and I was figuring it out on my own. (you and I both know I'm not near intelligent enough to do that!)

That is very cool. We could use one here that would countdown until She Speaks Registration....on second thought, that would stress us out!

I love that you put this on your blog. Your blog has a lot of really great things in the side bar. I'm so way behind you in the techno blogging. I know nothing. Your blog looks amazing, your writing is beautiful and amazing, and you are sweet, beautiful, and amazing!

Love you!
Melissa

Ahhhhhhhh! That's it. No wait... I'm not done... AHHHHHHHHHH! OK - I'm better now.

Oh my... so much to do... so little time. Hopefully someone will come by and pick me up off the floor soon so I can get started with the notebooks!

Blessings,
