Some of you have noted my absence. (Thanks for noticing.) I have not dropped off the edge of the earth even though it may seem like it. A couple things have been going on:
- We are still playing with a medication change for my depression. This alternately translates into lots of anxiety or no energy at all.
- Second, I have been busy, busy, busy. This weekend all I did was work and sleep. My B&N scheduled went from averaging 9 hours to one week averaging 21! Yeah for the pay check. Boo for my energy level.
- As a result of the above, I barely feel as if I have a coherent thought in my head. Seriously, last night was my 4th close in a row. I worked Wed. night, off Thursday, Friday night, Saturday night, and a whopping 3-10:30 on Sunday and then closed Monday. I very literally tried to convince a customer last night that it was Thursday. I chalk it up to not having a weekend!

Praying God will renew your strength and that you'll "mount up with wings as eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint."
Blessings,
Joy
Hi Amy -
I do miss reading your insightful posts. I will pray that things get squared away with your meds and that you will be back to feeling more like yourself. Sounds like a crazy work schedule....oh how I remember fondly my days at good ol' B&N (in the midst of another job, grad school, a major family issue and this crazy thing that we call LIFE!)
God Bless -
Beth
Oh girl, I hope things get better soon! I'm praying for you right now. I know how hard it is to keep going and going and going! But think about that pay check and do something really special for yourself with it!! =)
Hey Amy! Sorry I haven't been by in a while. I'm sharing at least one of your troubles...busyness. I'm working part time but it seems to be more like full time and blogging time has disappeared. I'll pray for your meds to get leveled out so you can feel a bit more energetic too. Until then, no pressure!
Something to cheer you up! A giveaway on my blog!! Thought you might like to check it out!! =)
Hi Amy,
I am definitely praying for you and your meds. I won't pretend to imagine what you are going through but I have friends who have gone through similar struggles. I will pray that the doctors get it right. Your smile lights up a room and we want to see more of it!
Remember that you are loved by many and I did notice that you were M.I.A. (smile)
Blessings,
LeAnn
